A quickie

OK so lets just say your lawyer suggests you get a guardian adlitem (don't know if I spelled that right and don't really care). Don't do it. The Guardian will only charge you BIG bucks and won't really discuss anything pertaining to the children with you even though you requested one and are paying for it. They are lawyers for the children and of course the children love both parents even though one may be a horrible example for a parent. In my case they don't seem to think that the father passing out and my children being able to wake him up is a big deal. Or one of my children catching her hair on fire while with their father. Or the fact that he has left bruises on them because he beat the stew out of them. Or that he has had his girlfriend spending the night. Those things are not bad enough in the courts eyes apparently. I am sure they have seen much worse but it seems to me like they should be taking into consideration that this is him on his best behavior and that it will only be worse when this whole thing is over.
